Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Plums must be sorted out and sorted. Overripe and crumpled fruits are best set aside or used for other workpieces. To prevent the plums from bursting when interacting with boiling water, they must be pierced with a fork or toothpick. Another option - you need to choose plums of medium ripeness for compote, elastic and dense. Rinse the selected plums, then place them in sterilized jars.
step 2 out of 5
Boil water, then fill the jars with boiling water. Leave the containers with plums to warm up for 20 minutes.
step 3 out of 5
After a while, the water must be drained into a suitable saucepan. Add granulated sugar to the water, put on fire, bring to a boil. After that, boil the syrup for another 5 minutes.
step 4 out of 5
We fill the jars with plums with hot syrup, immediately roll them up with lids.
step 5 out of 5
We turn the workpiece upside down, cooling it in this form under a warm blanket. Long-term storage of compote from plums prepared without sterilization is possible only in a cool place.
