Harvesting plum compote for the winter is one of the quickest, tastiest and easiest ones. If you add some more fruit to the plum, it turns out even tastier, richer and healthier. Today we decided to combine fruits such as plum and apple. In addition to the fact that we will get a delicious drink that perfectly quenches thirst, we will have delicious summer fruits in a jar that you can enjoy on a cold winter evening.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Put the fruit in a sterilized jar, fill it with hot syrup, cover it with a lid and put it in a deep saucepan with a cotton towel at the bottom. Fill the pot with warm water so that the water reaches the shoulders of the jar. Put the saucepan over medium heat and bring the water to a boil. Then we reduce the fire a little and sterilize the compote for 10-12 minutes.
Carefully remove the jar with the ready-made compote from the pan using a stick and seal it tightly with a lid. We turn the jar upside down, check the tightness, wrap it with a terry towel and leave it to cool completely at room temperature. Then we put the compote for storage in a dark, cool place, where during storage it will retain its beautiful rich color and acquire an amazing taste and aroma.
