Plum and apple compote for a 3 liter jar for the winter

Today we will be preparing a delicious homemade plum and apple compote. To give it more flavor, we will add 1 peach to the jar, which will be absolutely enough for the compote to play with new notes. Fruits complement each other perfectly in terms of taste, as a result of which you get a great home-made drink.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We wash the fruits under a stream of warm running water, then put them on a kitchen towel or put them in a colander and let them dry a little. Then cut the plums and peaches in half and remove the seeds.
step 2 out of 5
Cut the apples into four parts, remove the stem and core. If the apples are hard varieties, they must be immersed in boiling water for 2-3 minutes so that they become a little soft.
step 3 out of 5
We wash the compote cans with baking soda, rinse well under a stream of warm running water and put them in a cold oven with the neck down. We turn on the oven at 110-120 degrees and sterilize the jars for 7-10 minutes. We take the sterilized cans out of the oven using a grip, put them on the wire rack and let them cool slightly. Then put the prepared fruits in the jars and add sugar.
step 4 out of 5
Put a pot of water on the fire, bring to a boil and remove from heat. Pour boiling water into the jars, filling them halfway at first, let stand for 10-15 minutes, then add water to the neck of the jar.
step 5 out of 5
Tightly tighten the jars with lids, turn them upside down, wrap them with a blanket and leave them to cool completely at room temperature for about a day. Then we remove the compote for storage in a dark, cool place.
