Plum, like many fruits, contains a large amount of vitamins and nutrients. It has beneficial properties, strengthens the immune system, removes cholesterol, and improves digestion. Plum, ripe under the warm rays of the summer sun, cannot be different! Today we are going to make a delicious compote, which is prepared in a matter of minutes and will help quench your thirst on a hot summer day. You can adjust the amount of sugar to your taste, but if the plum is too sweet - you can add a little citric acid to the compote - it will make the taste richer and add a pleasant sourness.

We wash the plums thoroughly in warm running water, remove the leaves and stalks. We sort out so that there are no wormy fruits.

Using a sharp knife, cut each plum lengthwise and remove the bones. You can skip this step if you don't have a lot of time, but the pitted plum compote is richer and softer in taste.

Pour water into a saucepan, put on medium heat and heat. When the water is well warm, add sugar to it and mix well until dissolved, then add the plums.
