Compote of grapes and pears for the winter

Pears together with grapes are laid out in jars and poured with boiling water. After 20 minutes, all the liquid is poured into a saucepan, sugar and citric acid are added there. The syrup is poured into jars and the compote is rolled up. It turns out a very tasty and healthy drink.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Rinse the pears thoroughly under running water and dry them on a paper towel. We also wash the grapes and remove the berries from the branch.
step 2 out of 6
We thoroughly rinse the jars under hot running water and sterilize them in any convenient way. We lay out grapes and whole pears on them (if desired, they can be cut into several parts).
step 3 out of 6
Fill the contents of the jars with boiling water, cover them with lids and let them stand, thus, for 20-25 minutes, until the water cools down.
step 4 out of 6
Pour the resulting broth into a saucepan, add granulated sugar there and set on fire. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add citric acid, stir and remove from the stove immediately.
step 5 out of 6
Fill the grapes with pears with hot sugar syrup.
step 6 out of 6
We roll up the compote with sterilized lids, turn it upside down, wrap it in a towel or blanket and leave it to cool completely. We send for storage in a dark, cool place. We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and enjoy a delicious drink with fruit. Bon Appetit!
