Compote of grapes and cherries in a 3 liter jar for the winter

Grapes with cherries are placed in a jar and poured with boiling water. After 20 minutes, all the liquid is poured into a saucepan, sugar is added to it and everything is brought to a boil. The berries are poured with syrup and the compote is rolled. It turns out incredibly tasty.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First, we thoroughly rinse the grapes and cherries under running water. Then we put them in a colander and leave until all the liquid is completely drained.
step 2 out of 5
We rinse the jars well under hot water with soda. Next, we sterilize them in any convenient way and lay the cherries and grapes on them. Boil the required amount of water and pour boiling water over the berries. We cover the jars with lids and leave, thus, for 20 minutes.
step 3 out of 5
After the required time, we put on the lids with holes on the cans and drain all the liquid into the pan. Add granulated sugar and set on fire. Bring everything to a boil, then cook for a couple of minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved.
step 4 out of 5
Fill the grapes with cherries with the resulting sugar syrup and roll up the compote with sterile lids. We turn the cans upside down, wrap them in a blanket or bedspread and leave them to cool completely overnight. Then we send it to storage in a dark, cool place.
step 5 out of 5
We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and serve a wonderful healthy drink. Bon Appetit!
