Isabella grape compote with lemon in a 3-liter jar for the winter

Any drinks made from garden fruits and berries at home are a real storehouse of vitamins and beneficial acids. Despite the heat treatment that the ingredients go through, the compote still remains "vitamin" and is several times superior to the purchased soda, both in terms of taste and composition.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We will prepare everything you need: we will measure the required amount of fruit and granulated sugar, kitchen gram scales are excellent for these purposes, with them you definitely will not be mistaken in the proportions.
step 2 out of 6
We wash the grapes thoroughly under running water and separate them from the branches. We carefully sort out each berry, leaving only ripe undamaged fruits for the compote. Cut the lemon directly into the peel into thin rings.
step 3 out of 6
In prepared jars (rinse with soda solution, pour over with boiling water and let dry) pour the grapes, filling, about 1/3 of the container.
step 4 out of 6
We fill the berries with granulated sugar, the sweetness can be adjusted: by reducing or adding sugar, depending on your preferences.
step 5 out of 6
Pour the contents of the container with boiling water and gently stir with a spoon until the sugar crystals are completely dissolved. Then we cover the jars with lids and put them in a large pot of water for sterilization (it is advisable to put a piece of cloth on the bottom).
step 6 out of 6
Sterilize for about 15-20 minutes and immediately roll up the lids. Turn the jars upside down and cover with a towel. We leave it for a day and then put it in a storage place.
Bon Appetit!
