Kishmish grape compote for a 2 liter jar for the winter

The grapes are folded into sterilized jars, covered with sugar and boiled over. The compote is rolled up and left at room temperature until it cools completely. This is a very simple recipe that produces an incredibly delicious drink.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First, thoroughly rinse the grapes under running water. Then we put it in a colander and leave it until all the excess liquid has drained off. We remove the berries from the branch (or leave them as they are), simultaneously sorting them out so that there are no rotten, damaged grapes in the compote. We also boil the required amount of water.
step 2 out of 5
At this time, we wash the cans well with hot water and soda, after which we sterilize them in any convenient way (in a microwave oven, oven, etc.). Boil the lids separately in a little water.
step 3 out of 5
We put grapes in sterilized jars and sprinkle it with granulated sugar on top. It can be added more or less depending on the desired concentration of the future compote.
step 4 out of 5
Fill everything with boiling water and seal with sterile lids. We turn the cans upside down and shake them a little so that the sugar completely dissolves and does not sink to the bottom. Wrap in a towel and leave to cool completely for several hours or overnight. Next, we send it to storage in a dark and cool place.
step 5 out of 5
We open the compote in winter, pour it into glasses and serve a delicious, rich drink to the table. Bon Appetit!
