Kishmish grape compote for a 3 liter jar for the winter

The grapes are laid out in jars, covered with sugar and poured with boiling water. The compote is rolled up, turned upside down and left to cool completely. It turns out to be a very tasty, rich and sweet drink.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
To begin with, we thoroughly rinse the grapes under running water and discard it in a colander. Let it stand until all excess liquid has drained off.
step 2 out of 6
We wash the jars well under hot water with soda, after which we sterilize them in any convenient way. We remove grapes from a branch and send them to three-liter jars.
step 3 out of 6
We fill the grapes with the required amount of granulated sugar. You can add more of it, then just dilute the compote with water.
step 4 out of 6
Boil water in a large saucepan and pour boiling water over the grapes. We roll up the compote with sterile lids.
step 5 out of 6
We turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a towel or blanket and leave to cool completely for several hours or overnight.
step 6 out of 6
We send jars with cooled grape compote for storage in a cellar or other cool place. We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and serve a delicious, rich drink to the table. Bon Appetit!
