Kishmish grape compote in liter jars for the winter

The grapes are poured with boiling water and after 15 minutes all the liquid is poured into a saucepan. Sugar is added there and the berries are poured with syrup. The compote is rolled up and left to cool completely. It turns out to be very tasty and rich.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We thoroughly rinse the grapes under running water, then discard it in a colander and leave it until all excess liquid has drained off. We remove the berries from the branch and remove the damaged and rotten ones.
step 2 out of 5
We wash liter jars well under hot water with soda and sterilize them in any convenient way. We shift the grapes into them so that it occupies about 1/3 of the volume.
step 3 out of 5
Boil water and gently pour boiling water over the berries so that the glass does not burst. We cover the jar with a lid and let it stand for 15 minutes, so that the grapes are warmed up and a decoction is obtained.
step 4 out of 5
After the necessary time, put on the lid with holes on the jar and drain all the liquid into the pan. Add granulated sugar and set on fire. Bring to a boil and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
step 5 out of 5
Fill the grapes with the resulting sugar syrup, cover the jar with a sterile lid and roll up. Next, turn it upside down, wrap it in a blanket or blanket and leave it to cool completely for several hours or overnight. Then we send the compote for storage in a dark and cool place. We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and serve a delicious rich drink to the table. Bon Appetit!
