Grape compote in a 2-liter jar without sterilization for the winter

Grapes contain heart-healthy substances and are a natural antioxidant. Therefore, grape juices and compotes are so useful for the human body, especially in winter, when there is a lack of vitamins.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
A serving of compote is designed for a 2-liter jar. We select the required container and a cover for it. First, we clean the container with soda and rinse it with running warm water. Then the lid and jar must be sent for sterilization.
step 2 out of 5
Now you need to prepare the syrup for rolling the drink. First, pour water into a saucepan and place the container on the stove. Pour in the required amount of sugar. Bring the syrup to a boil and cook for about three minutes.
step 3 out of 5
Now you need to prepare the grapes. Separate the berries from the branches and rinse them with water. We discard the rotten grapes. We spread the berries on the bottom of the jar.
step 4 out of 5
Fill the grapes with hot syrup. We cover the container with a lid and roll it up. We check the tightness of the jar: we turn it in our hands in different directions - the jar should not leak.
step 5 out of 5
Turn the container upside down and wrap it with a warm blanket. When the compote has cooled down, we transfer it to storage in the pantry. In winter, we open a can and drink a delicious vitamin drink.
Bon Appetit!
