Grape compote with mint for the winter

A refreshing drink made from sweet and sour grapes with the addition of mint - this is an unusual and very pleasant taste with a menthol aroma. Heat treatment does not destroy all the beneficial properties and vitamins contained in the fruit, which makes the compote not only tasty, but also healthy.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
We thoroughly wash the berries under running water, separate them from the branches and at the same time sort out, since you should not use unripe or spoiled fruits to prepare compote. After, we discard the berries in a colander, allowing excess water to drain.
step 2 out of 7
The container and lids must be prepared: we sterilize in any convenient way (in a microwave oven, in an oven or in a water bath). We keep the lids in boiling water for 10-15 minutes.
step 3 out of 7
We fill clean and dry jars with berries, about 1/3 of the total volume.
step 4 out of 7
Put a few sprigs of fragrant mint on top.
step 5 out of 7
Fill the contents of the jar with boiling water, cover with a lid and leave to warm for 10-15 minutes.
step 6 out of 7
After the time has elapsed, pour the solution back into the pan and add granulated sugar, cook for about 2-3 minutes after boiling. Immediately fill the container with syrup and roll it up using a special machine.
step 7 out of 7
Turn the hot cans upside down and cover them with a blanket until they cool completely. Store in a dark place. Bon Appetit!
