An assorted compote of grapes with apples will delight you with its rich taste, useful properties and will be a good preparation of fruit for the winter, instead of store juice. It is prepared simply, without sterilization. Grapes are chosen of any color, because it determines the color of the drink, and apples are taken from hard varieties in order to retain their shape in compote. An important point for this workpiece will be the sterility and cleanliness of the cans.

First rinse the fruit for compote thoroughly. It is up to you to decide whether to separate the grapes from the branches. Blue grapes are usually used with twigs, only in this case it must be soaked in cold water for a while so that small debris can be removed more easily.

Cut the apples, without peeling, into pieces of any shape and size.

Rinse 3-liter cans in advance with the addition of baking soda and sterilize in the most appropriate way for you. Be sure to boil the lids. Place the grapes with twigs and apple slices in the prepared jars. You can change the ratio of these fruits according to your taste preferences.

Boil clean drinking water based on the number of cans of the workpiece and boiling water, carefully so that the glass does not burst, pour the fruit. Leave the jars covered for 10 minutes to blanch the fruit. Then pour the water from the jars into a saucepan, and bring to a boil a second time. Pour the required amount of sugar into each jar.

Then put the jars on a plate and re-pour the fruit with sugar with boiling water, filling the jars with them to the upper edge of the neck so that the boiling water overflows a little.
