Grape compote is 2 in 1: a vitamin aromatic drink and juicy berries, which taste no different from fresh fruits, which can be eaten in the same way or used to decorate cakes, pies and other confectionery products.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
We prepare the necessary products: we weigh and measure the required amount of one or another ingredient.
step 2 out of 9
We wash the fruits thoroughly and sort out each berry, removing all damaged and spoiled ones. Next, pour over boiling water for 20 seconds and put it in a colander, allowing all excess liquid to drain.
step 3 out of 9
Cut the lemon (you should choose citrus with a thin peel) into thin rings.
step 4 out of 9
A separate step should be the sterilization of the cans along with the lids (you can do this in any way convenient for you).
step 5 out of 9
Put the berries and citrus rings in dried jars.
step 6 out of 9
Sprinkle the fruits with granulated sugar, ½ cup is enough for one jar.
step 7 out of 9
Fill the contents of the container with boiling water and immediately tighten the lid.
step 8 out of 9
We turn the jars upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket until they cool completely.
step 9 out of 9
Store in a cool, dark place without direct sunlight.
