I want to share a delicious and aromatic recipe for cherry and black currant compote. The berry drink turns out to be moderately sweet with a pleasant sourness, and will quench your thirst well. Self-made compote will be much healthier than purchased drinks and juices.

Put the cherries and black currants alternately in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. In the meantime, prepare the jar, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the oven or in a water bath. Pour boiling water over the lid. The jar and lid must be completely dry. Put the cherries in a sterile jar.
