step 1 out of 5
Let's prepare all those components that we will use to prepare compote. We wash and dry the apples thoroughly, be sure to remove the core from them. In parallel with this, we sterilize the jar and the lid.
step 2 out of 5
As soon as the jar has been sterilized, cut the peeled apples into slices and randomly put them in the jar, filling about one third of the total volume.

Extract the seeds from the cherries with any suitable object. You can even use a hairpin. Then put the cherries on top of the apples.
step 4 out of 5
Fill the fruits with berries with boiling water and leave to heat for 15-20 minutes, covering with a lid. Then pour the water into a saucepan, pour granulated sugar into it and stir well. Boil the syrup for two minutes before pouring it into the jar.

Then we return the boiling sweet syrup to the jar and send it to sterilize in a saucepan with boiling water, at the bottom of which is a towel. This procedure takes no more than 15 minutes.
