Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We measure out the required amount of apples and cherries. All components must be washed well and dried.
step 2 out of 6
We rinse the cans together with soda and sterilize in any way you are accustomed to. We also sterilize the lids for five minutes.
step 3 out of 6
Put cherries and chopped apples at the bottom of the sterilized jar.
step 4 out of 6
Pour about two and a half liters of water into a saucepan and boil it over medium heat for just a couple of minutes. After that, pour boiling water into the jar to the apples and cherries. Covering fruits and berries with a lid, leave them to warm up for 15 minutes.
step 5 out of 6
After this time, pour the broth into a saucepan, pour granulated sugar into it and boil for 5-10 minutes from the moment of boiling.
step 6 out of 6
We return the sweet syrup to the heated apples and cherries. We roll up the compote using a kitchen key, be sure to check the jar for tightness. Cool the workpiece upside down by wrapping it in a warm blanket. This will provide the compote with gradual and comfortable cooling without sudden changes in temperature.
We wish you bon appetite!
