Cherry and apple compote for the winter in a 3-liter jar

Many people like assorted compotes more, because different berries and fruits in tandem give the drink a new taste. One of these options would be cherry and apple compote. Along with cherries, apples "White filling" and "Ranetki" ripen, and they perfectly complement the cherry compote. Homemade cherry and apple compote will perfectly replace any store drink with preservatives and dyes, which is important for baby food. We prepare such a compote by the method of double filling and without sterilization.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Before you start cooking the compote, prepare the cherries and apples for preservation. From the selected cherry, remove the damaged fruits and peel the berries from the stalks.
step 2 out of 8
Then rinse it well with cold water and discard in a colander to remove all moisture.
step 3 out of 8
Rinse the apples and cut them into freeform pieces.
step 4 out of 8
Small fruits are sometimes put in whole compote. Put prepared cherries and apple slices in pre-washed jars.
step 5 out of 8
Then pour boiling water over them in jars. Place boiled lids on the jars. Leave the fruit in the jars to soak and cool for 30 minutes.
step 6 out of 8
After 30 minutes, pour the water from the cans through a special lid into the same saucepan. Dissolve 300 g of granulated sugar in this water and boil the syrup. Boil it over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
step 7 out of 8
Then pour boiling syrup over the contents of the jars, filling them to the very top. Roll up the cans with compote immediately and check the sealing tightness.
step 8 out of 8
Turn the jars onto the lids and cover them tightly with any "fur coat". In this state, leave the compote in jars for 1-2 days and only then transfer it to storage in a cool, dark place.
Happy and tasty preparations!
