Cherry compote for 2 liter jar

The sweetness of the compote can be adjusted depending on the acidity of the berries. The recipe is based on sour berries. Compote is obtained concentrated due to the large number of berries in each jar. Cooking in medium-sized jars will make it easy to keep in the refrigerator after opening.

Sort out the berries and cover with cold water for 2 hours. Prepare the jars by washing them with baking soda and sterilizing them. Boil the lids.

Pour water into a saucepan, put on fire, boil, add sugar and boil syrup. Rinse the cherries and add them to the jars.
