Antonovka apple compote for the winter

Antonovka - delicious and aromatic apples. Compote from them turns out to be simply amazing, transparent and rich.

Sort the apples and wash.

Cut the apples into quarters and place in clean jars.

Pour boiling water over the jars, cover with lids and leave for 10-15 minutes.

Drain water into a saucepan, add sugar and put on fire. Bring the syrup to a boil and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved. Pour the hot sweet syrup over the jars and roll up the lids. Cool the seams upside down, then store in a cool cellar.
