A very fragrant sweet and sour compote from everyone's favorite fruits. The recipe is insanely simple, which means it won't take much of your time. The ingredients are the simplest - even a schoolboy can handle it!

First of all, we wash the apples under running water, cut into cubes or slices, removing the core and seeds.

Already cut fruits are evenly laid out in jars and filled with boiling water, covering from above with nylon lids. Let it brew for 30-40 minutes in a warm room.

Next, we take an empty container of a suitable size, and pour one kilogram of sugar into it, carefully drain the water from the jars there. Mix the resulting mixture thoroughly and put on fire until it boils.

When the syrup thickens and acquires a slightly golden color (about five minutes), turn off and fill the jars with apples to the very top.
