Apple and chokeberry compote without sterilization for the winter

Chokeberry drink is tart and tasty. The fruits are used to treat many chronic diseases. Mountain ash is also useful for pregnant women - it relieves swelling and toxicosis.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We prepare the container for seaming compote in advance. We need 3 jars of 1 liter. First, clean them with baking soda and rinse them thoroughly. Then we sterilize the containers and lids.
step 2 out of 6
We wash out the required amount of rowan berries, having previously separated the "tails" from them. When the excess liquid drains, we put the berries in jars.
step 3 out of 6
We need apple slices, which weigh 400 grams without seed boxes. Rinse the apples first and then cut them. We get rid of the fruits of seeds and other details. We spread them over the mountain ash.
step 4 out of 6
Pour water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil on the stove. Pour boiling water over the ingredients in the jar. We cover the jars with lids for 15 minutes so that the liquid has time to stain, and the ingredients go through sterilization.
step 5 out of 6
Pour sugar and citric acid into a saucepan. Pour the infusion from the jars to them and bring the liquid mass to a boil, and then cook the syrup for about two minutes.
step 6 out of 6
Pour the syrup into the jars to the very top. We roll the compote in jars and turn the containers over. We wrap it up and wait for the jars to cool down to transfer their storage location.
Bon Appetit!
