Frozen raspberry compote

If the volume of your freezer allows, then there is no point in storing traditional compotes in cans for the winter. Using this recipe, you can quickly prepare a flavored vitamin drink for your loved ones. Raspberries do not need to be defrosted beforehand. You can flavor such a compote with lemon, cinnamon or ginger. Children will especially like it for its taste.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Keep the frozen raspberries at home temperature for a few minutes to remove the frost, and rinse the berries with cold water. You don't need to rinse garden raspberries.
step 2 out of 4
Pour clean water into a saucepan and boil.
step 3 out of 4
Transfer the raspberries to boiling water, bring the compote to a boil over low heat and remove the foam from its surface. Cook the raspberries for no more than 5 minutes. Then pour the required amount of sugar into the compote, stir so that the sugar is completely dissolved, and after boiling, turn off the heat. Give the compote some time to infuse.
step 4 out of 4
Then chill the compote in the refrigerator and can serve by adding whole frozen berries to each glass instead of ice.

Bon Appetit!
