In winter, when you really want vitamins, armed with frozen fruits and berries, you can cook delicious natural compotes. One of the most delicious and aromatic is the frozen cherry compote.

Pour water into a saucepan, put on fire and bring water to a boil.

Pour 130 grams of sugar into the water to begin with. After adding the berries, you can add more sugar if the cherries are too sour. Bring the sugar syrup to a boil.

Add the cherries to the boiling syrup; you do not need to defrost it. Bring the compote to a boil, then reduce the heat, after a while the berries will begin to float. After that, cook for another 5-7 minutes, taste the compote and add some more sugar if necessary.

Turn off the compote and let it brew for 30-40 minutes. During this time, the berries will release even more juice and the compote will become more saturated. Such a natural drink is suitable for winter gatherings and, by the way, will be chilled on hot summer days.
