Green grape compote without sterilization in a 3-liter jar for the winter

Green grapes are quite sweet in taste, so the amount of sugar needs to be adjusted according to your taste preferences. If citric acid is added to the compote, you can add more sugar, if lemon juice - less.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We will lay the green grapes for compote in bunches in the jar. To do this, put the brushes in a colander and rinse with running water.
step 2 out of 5
Now we need a 3 liter jar. It, together with the lid, must first be cleaned with baking soda, and then rinsed and sent for sterilization. Put the bunches of grapes in a clean jar up to half the capacity.
step 3 out of 5
Now you need to rinse the lemon and cut it in half to squeeze out the lemon juice. The most convenient way to do this is with a juicer. Pour the resulting juice into a jar of grapes.
step 4 out of 5
Pour the required amount of sugar into the jar. It remains to pour boiling water over the ingredients. To do this, first pour purified water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Then pour boiling water into the jar halfway and shake it so that the sugar dissolves faster. Then pour the rest of the boiling water to the very top of the jar.
step 5 out of 5
Leave the compote for 10 minutes under a closed lid, and then pour the infusion back into the pan. When the syrup boils, pour it into the jar. Roll up the compote and turn the container over. We wrap it with a blanket so that the drink cools down gradually. Then we put the jar of compote in a dark, cool place.
Bon Appetit!
