Green grape compote in a 3-liter jar for the winter

The green grape drink turns out to be clear, so it is often prepared with berries such as currants so that the infusion turns into a richer color. However, in its natural form, the compote comes out very tasty.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Let's start preparing compote by preparing a jar and a lid. First, clean it with soda and rinse thoroughly with running water. Then we send for sterilization.
step 2 out of 5
We wash the grape bunches with running water and immediately free the branches from the fruits. If you come across rotten and lethargic grapes, discard them. When the fruits are dry, put the grapes in the jar until the middle.
step 3 out of 5
Pour the pre-purified water into a saucepan. When the liquid boils, add sugar and, stirring it with a spoon until dissolved, cook the syrup for 4-5 minutes.
step 4 out of 5
Gently pour the syrup over the grapes. We cover the jar with a lid and wait 15 minutes. When the compote is infused, pour the syrup back into the saucepan. For this purpose, you can use the cover, which has special holes.
step 5 out of 5
Boil the syrup for 2 minutes and pour citric acid into it. When the acid dissolves, the grapes in the jar can again be filled with syrup. We roll up the can and turn it over. We wrap it up with a blanket. After cooling down, we transfer the jar with compote to a dark, cool place.
Bon Appetit!
