Green grape and apple compote for the winter

Chopped apples with grapes are poured with boiling water, after which all the water is poured into a saucepan and syrup is prepared from it, with which the fruit is poured. The compote is rolled up with lids and left overnight until it cools completely. It turns out a very tasty and rich drink.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Rinse the apples thoroughly under running water, dry them on a paper towel and, if desired, cut off the peel. Cut out the core and cut them into small wedges.
step 2 out of 5
We examine a bunch of grapes and, if necessary, remove spoiled berries. We also rinse it under running water, dry it with a paper towel and remove the grapes from the branch.
step 3 out of 5
We wash the jars well under hot water with soda, after which we sterilize them in any convenient way. We shift fruits into them and pour boiling water over everything. We cover the jars with sterile lids and let stand for about 10 minutes.
step 4 out of 5
After the necessary time, put on the lid with holes on the jars and drain all the liquid into the pan. Add sugar and put everything on fire. Bring to a boil, then cook for a couple of minutes, until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved.
step 5 out of 5
Fill the grapes with apples with the resulting sugar syrup and roll the compote with lids. We turn the cans upside down, wrap them in a towel or blanket and leave overnight until they cool completely. Next, we send it to storage in a cellar or another dark and cool place. We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and serve a delicious vitamin drink to the table. Bon Appetit!
