Strawberry jam with pectin

Strawberry is a fragrant healthy berry with a lot of vitamins and minerals. Strawberries can be prepared for the winter in various ways: roll up compotes, freeze berries, boil jam, jam or confiture. I suggest making strawberry jam with pectin.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Measure out the required amount of granulated sugar and combine with pectin. Sort the strawberries carefully. Put the strawberries in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. Cut the prepared strawberries into four parts, large berries can be cut into six parts. Place the prepared berries in a metal dish with a thick bottom.
step 2 out of 6
Cover the berries with a mixture of granulated sugar and pectin.
step 3 out of 6
Mix the chopped berries with granulated sugar and pectin thoroughly.
step 4 out of 6
Then put the container with strawberries on low heat, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and skimming off the resulting foam. Cook the strawberry jam for just a minute. Prepare the jars and wash them thoroughly and sterilize them in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids. Jars and lids must be completely dry.
step 5 out of 6
Using a ladle, carefully pour the hot jam into sterile jars. Tighten the jars of strawberry jelly with pectin with sterile lids, then turn upside down. Leave as it is until it cools completely.
step 6 out of 6
When completely cool, turn the jars over and move them to a refrigerator or other cool, dark place for long-term storage. Serve fragrant strawberry jam for breakfast with pancakes and pancakes.

Enjoy!
