Lavash envelopes with suluguni cheese

I suggest making delicious low-calorie envelopes from pita bread with suluguni cheese. I often prepare such an appetizer for family gatherings, and also take it with me to a picnic, so that later I can brown them over the fire. If you are watching your figure and nutrition, take on board this simple recipe, and please yourself and your friends.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Rinse green onions, dill and parsley thoroughly in cool running water, and then shake off excess moisture. Chop the prepared greens with a sharp knife. Peel the garlic, rinse under water and finely chop with a knife.
step 2 out of 8
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly in cool water, then pat dry with a kitchen towel and cut into slices 5-7 millimeters thick, after removing the stalk.
step 3 out of 8
Cut the suluguni cheese into thin slices. Any cheese can be used. Experiment and find your perfect recipe.
step 4 out of 8
Cut the sheets of Armenian lavash into several identical rectangular pieces. I usually cut the sheet into 3-4 pieces depending on the size of the pita bread.
step 5 out of 8
Grease each part of the pita bread with a small amount of mayonnaise, evenly distributing it over the entire surface of the sheet. Sprinkle with chopped garlic, then put chopped greens in the center, tomato slices (salt if necessary), and top with a few slices of suluguni cheese.
step 6 out of 8
Gently fold it into an envelope, first folding the bottom edge of the pita bread to the center, then the side edges and the top edge. Form the rest of the envelopes this way.
step 7 out of 8
Put the prepared envelopes on a prepared barbecue grill and fry over the fire on both sides until an appetizing golden brown crust, literally a couple of minutes on each side. Such envelopes can also be prepared at home - baked in the oven or fried in a dry frying pan.
step 8 out of 8
Serve crispy fragrant pita envelopes with suluguni cheese.

Bon Appetit!
