Lavash envelopes with tilapia baked

It is with great pleasure that I want to share a recipe for baked pita envelopes with tilapia. The appetizer turns out to be insanely fragrant and incredibly tasty, and it's not a sin to serve this on a festive table. Fish and seafood lovers will absolutely love this wonderful dish.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 13
First of all, start preparing the fill. Break a chicken egg into a small bowl. Then add sour cream, mustard oil, mustard, salt, black pepper and oregano.
step 2 out of 13
Mix thoroughly until smooth with a whisk.
step 3 out of 13
Pre-defrost the tilapia fillet, remove the seeds if necessary, rinse thoroughly in cool running water, then dry using paper towels or napkins.
step 4 out of 13
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly in cool water, then pat dry with a kitchen towel and cut into slices 5-7 millimeters thick, after removing the stalk.
step 5 out of 13
Cut the sheets of Armenian lavash into several equal parts. I usually cut a sheet of pita bread into 4 equal parts.
step 6 out of 13
Place a few tomato slices in the center of the rectangular part of the pita bread.
step 7 out of 13
Put the tilapia fillet on top, after bathing it in the prepared filling.
step 8 out of 13
Prepare a baking dish and place the envelopes with the folded side down in it. Fill in the entire baking dish in this way.
step 9 out of 13
Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater. And then put in the remaining filling, salt, pepper and add the required amount of cream. Mix thoroughly.
step 10 out of 13
Spread the prepared fill evenly over the entire surface of the envelopes.
step 11 out of 13
Place the baking dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake the appetizer for 35 minutes. Then carefully remove from the oven and cool slightly.
step 12 out of 13
Serve baked pita bread envelopes with tilapia in portions.
step 13 out of 13
Top up the dish with fresh vegetables and serve. I used cherry tomatoes.

Bon Appetit!
