Puff pastry envelopes with cheese and ham in the oven

Airy and crispy filled envelopes are delicious pastries that can be easily made at home, especially if you have ready-made puff pastry in your freezer. We will use cheese and ham for the filling.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Defrost the dough at room temperature. Cut the ham into thin slices, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
step 2 out of 5
Spread the puff pastry on a flat surface and cut into equal squares.
step 3 out of 5
Beat the chicken egg separately. Grease each square of dough with a hammered egg, put ham and cheese in the middle, fasten the opposite edges of the dough together.
step 4 out of 5
Place the blanks on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Lubricate the envelopes with a beaten egg on top.
step 5 out of 5
Bake the envelopes in the oven at 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool the finished baked goods a little and then serve.

Bon Appetit!
