Turkey cutlets without eggs

Turkey cutlets can be made without adding eggs. Eggs have been added to minced meat since Soviet times, when it was necessary to cook a lot of cutlets from a minimum amount of minced meat. Instead of eggs, add grated potatoes to the minced meat, which will keep the shape of the cutlets. This dish is suitable for baby and food, and for those who are allergic to eggs.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
If you do not have ready-made minced meat, then twist the turkey fillet in a meat grinder. Put the minced meat in a bowl that is convenient for kneading. Peel the onion and potatoes.
step 2 out of 6
Chop potatoes and onions on a fine grater. Sprinkle the minced meat to your liking with salt and pepper and transfer the grated potatoes and onions to it. We do not add garlic to the minced poultry so as not to violate its natural taste. Mix the minced meat well. Then pour water to the minced meat, stir and beat several times to make it a homogeneous and fluffy texture.
step 3 out of 6
With wet hands from the cooked minced meat, form cutlets of any shape and size at your discretion and place on a cutting board. Place the patties in the refrigerator for 40 minutes. During this time, the minced meat will set well and the cutlets will retain their shape when frying.
step 4 out of 6
After this time, heat the vegetable oil in a skillet. Formed cutlets (cutlets do not need to be breaded) transfer to a frying pan and fry until golden brown over medium heat.
step 5 out of 6
Then turn them over on the other side, quickly fry and simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes under a closed lid.
step 6 out of 6
Then transfer the cutlets to a plate, cover with a second plate and a towel. Leave them under this coat for 20-30 minutes. Your patties will become very plump and soft. Serve them with vegetables and mashed potatoes.

Bon Appetit!
