Cakes on yeast dough with kefir always turn out crumbly, high, with a smooth and even surface. It is not difficult to prepare such cakes, the process will not take much time. Kefir cakes with yeast do not stale for a long time, they remain soft. There may even be a feeling that the next day they become even more aromatic and tasty.

Sift wheat flour. Next, add yeast to the flour and mix.

We drive eggs into a convenient container, add salt and granulated sugar. Using a mixer, beat the egg-sugar mixture for a couple of minutes. Chicken eggs should be at room temperature, so remove them from the refrigerator beforehand.

When the egg-sugar mixture turns white, add softened butter to it. Beat everything again with a mixer.

Next, pour in kefir at room temperature into the resulting mixture. Mix everything with a mixer.

The next step is to mix the liquid foundation with the dry ingredients. To do this, we make a depression in a container with flour and yeast, where we pour in the liquid base.

It remains to knead the dough. Hands and a container, where we will then send the dough, grease with vegetable oil. Knead the dough until it stops sticking to your palms. After that, we transfer the finished dough into a container, cover with a towel and put in a warm place for 50-60 minutes. During this time, the dough should double in size.

Let's prepare the filling. The marmalade must be cut into small pieces. We put aside a little marmalade (50 g) to decorate the cakes. If desired, traditionally Easter cakes can be made with candied fruits, raisins or nuts.

We knead the present dough. Then we gradually mix in the prepared marmalade.

We distribute the dough with filling into forms (you can use paper ones). After that, cover the dough with a towel and put it back in a warm place for about 60 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Grease the cakes with yolk on top and send them to the hot oven for 30-40 minutes.

We take out the finished cakes from the oven, cool, then remove from the mold. After that, decorate with icing and marmalade. Delicious and tender pastries are ready!
