A great option for a hot snack or light lunch. Combine the chicken liver with fried onions and carrots, season with sour cream and spices and bake in the oven. Such a dish can be served with a side dish - cereals or vegetables, as well as simply accompanied by fresh bread. When baking, natural juice will be released, which asks to dip the bread crust into itself. The dish, moreover, is low-calorie, which will especially appeal to dieters.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Wash the chicken liver in running water, simultaneously removing the adjoining films and cutting out the veined vessels. After washing, place the offal in a colander and let the excess water drain. Then we heat the frying pan on the stove without adding oil. We spread the prepared liver on it and pour in a third of a glass of water. Cook the liver for three to four minutes over medium heat, until the color of the offal changes from dark pink to light brown. Add salt, black pepper and ground coriander to taste, stir and remove from the stove.
Put the specified amount of butter in a deep frying pan and melt it until it is liquid. Pour the chopped onion and fry it until transparent, not forgetting to stir. Then add the grated carrots, stir and continue to fry for another three to four minutes, until the vegetables are tender. Finally, add salt to taste.
Bon Appetit!
