Chicken liver with onions and sour cream in a slow cooker

Chicken liver can be very easily cooked in a slow cooker. First, prepare the vegetable frying, then add the prepared raw liver, sour cream, water and spices. We close the lid of the device and “forget” about cooking. An hour later, a juicy, tender liver will be ready for lunch, which can be served with any side dish. For frying, we recommend using not only onions, but also carrots, since it is they that give a light sweetness, which well emphasizes the delicate taste of the liver.

We prepare the necessary products. Peel the onions, wash, dry and cut into small cubes. Peel the carrots from the upper skin, rinse, dry and rub on a coarse grater. We wash the chicken liver in cool water. We remove the accompanying films and vessels. We recommend not chopping the liver - this way the product will retain more juiciness. After rinsing, the water must be allowed to drain from the liver.

We turn on the multicooker in the "Fry" mode. Pour a small amount of odorless vegetable oil into the bowl and heat it well. Pour chopped onions and grated carrots into hot oil. Fry everything together until the onion pieces are transparent and the carrots are soft, not forgetting to stir.

Put the chicken liver into the finished vegetable fry, mix.

Add salt and black pepper to taste. Pour in sour cream in the specified amount. Mix the flour and water separately until smooth. Pour the resulting mass into a bowl to the liver.

We close the lid of the multicooker, set the "Extinguishing" mode and select the time - one hour. When the program time is over, turn off the device, open the lid and mix the contents of the bowl. The dish is ready.

Serve hot chicken liver with the desired side dish. Potatoes are ideal for this dish. Do not forget to sprinkle each serving with sour cream and vegetable gravy. Sprinkle with fresh herbs to taste.
