Chicken liver with onions in a slow cooker

Chicken liver pairs perfectly with onions. It gives juiciness to the offal and contributes to the rich taste of the finished dish. Cut the onion into thin transparent rings or semicircles - so the onion will have time to cook well and will be soft. In this recipe, we also suggest using a spicy soy sauce and honey filling. It will give the liver a slight sweetness, piquancy and beautiful color.

We wash the chicken liver thoroughly in cool or lukewarm water. We remove all films and cut out the vessels. Let the water drain after rinsing. Cut each prepared liver into two or three pieces.

Set the "Fry" mode in the multicooker. Pour a small amount of odorless vegetable oil into the bowl and heat it well. Put pieces of liver in hot oil and fry them for ten minutes. Stir occasionally. The entire liver should completely change color from pink to light brown.

Peel the onions, wash, dry and cut into thin translucent semicircles. Pour the onion over the fried liver, stir and continue to fry with the lid of the appliance open for another ten minutes. Do not forget to stir.

At the same time, we are preparing a spicy filling. To do this, mix the soy sauce and honey in a small container. If the honey is hard, melt it in the microwave - this will make it easier to mix it evenly with the sauce. Then add the chicken seasoning and stir.

Pour the resulting filling into a bowl to the liver with onions, mix. Free the garlic from the husk, rinse and pass through a press. Alternatively, just cut into small pieces with a knife. Add garlic to the bowl and mix. We close the lid of the multicooker, set the "Extinguishing" mode for ten minutes.

After the specified time has elapsed, open the lid of the appliance - the dish is ready. No salt is used in the recipe as there is enough soy sauce. For flavor, the finished liver can be lightly sprinkled with freshly ground black pepper.
