Chicken liver with onions in a Redmond slow cooker

Many people know that the liver is a healthy product, but not everyone loves it and regularly includes it in their menu. Chicken liver itself does have a slightly specific flavor, but it is easily masked by the addition of onions and sour cream. In such "accompaniment" the dish turns out to be very tender and aromatic. With potatoes or, for example, buckwheat, chicken liver becomes an excellent hearty and healthy dish, while not overloading the digestive system.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
We wash the chicken liver in lukewarm water. We remove the present films, vessels and veins. After rinsing, put the product in a sieve and let the excess water drain. Then we prepare the onions. We peel it from the husk, rinse and dry it.
step 2 out of 9
Cut the onion into small pieces. You can also chop the onion into thin half rings if you like more onion in your dish.
step 3 out of 9
We turn on the multicooker in the "Fry" mode. Pour a small amount of odorless vegetable oil into the bowl and heat it well. Pour chopped onions into hot oil. Fry it for about five to seven minutes, until it becomes transparent and starts to brown slightly.
step 4 out of 9
Cut the dried liver into small pieces.
step 5 out of 9
Put the chopped liver in a bowl with onions. We mix.
step 6 out of 9
Pour flour evenly on top, stir the cut still.
step 7 out of 9
Preparing the sour cream filling. Put the specified amount of sour cream in a small bowl, add the desired amount of salt and black pepper. Stir and pour in water, mix again.
step 8 out of 9
Pour the resulting filling into a bowl to the liver and onion, mix. We close the lid of the multicooker and select the "Quenching" mode for one hour.
step 9 out of 9
After the program time has expired, turn off the multicooker, and lay out the liver on portioned plates, accompanied by any side dish. When serving, sprinkle with chopped herbs and add vegetables.
Bon Appetit!
