Chicken liver in bacon in the oven

We offer an interesting option for a chicken liver snack. To do this, you will also need bacon, cut into thin slices. Moreover, you can take both regular and uncooked smoked bacon, depending on what flavor you want to get. When baked from bacon, fat is melted and soaked in tender chicken offal - a very soft juicy liver is obtained. Such an appetizer is quite fatty, hearty and goes well with spirits.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We wash the chicken liver well in cool water, remove all existing films, vessels and veins.
step 2 out of 6
After rinsing, place the liver on a paper towel and cover with a second sheet of towel. All moisture must be removed from each piece.
step 3 out of 6
Lay out the bacon plates on the work surface. Take the chicken liver in a separate piece and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. We adjust the spices to our own taste, taking into account also the degree of salinity of the bacon.
step 4 out of 6
We put the prepared piece of liver on the edge of the plate and wrap it in the form of a roll. For reliability, you can stab the structure with a toothpick. But if you then carefully lay the resulting rolls with the seam down, then during baking, the shape is well preserved without stabbing. Cover the baking sheet with foil, shiny side up. Split the liver in bacon on a baking sheet.
step 5 out of 6
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 190 degrees. We put a baking sheet with liver in it on a medium level and bake for twenty minutes.
step 6 out of 6
We take out the finished liver in bacon from the oven. Transfer from a baking sheet to a serving plate. Serve hot. Sprinkle with herbs if desired.
Bon Appetit!
