Chicken liver is a very healthy product. It contains valuable trace elements and vitamins, is easy to digest, and is suitable for dietary nutrition. We suggest to cook it in a sleeve in the oven. Together with the liver, we will also place onions, apples and spices in the sleeve. The ingredients are saturated with each other's juices - the dish will turn out to be juicy and tasty.

We thoroughly rinse the chicken liver in slightly warm water, cut out all adjacent films, vessels and veins. We do not cut the liver into pieces, but leave it in whole pieces to keep the maximum juiciness when baking. We spread the product on a paper towel and dry it. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.

Peel the onions, wash, dry and cut into thin translucent rings or half rings. It is important to cut the onion as thin as possible so that it has time to bake and become soft by the time the liver is ready.

Wash the apples, dry them and cut them into four parts. By the way, it is better to take apples with a pronounced sourness - such fruits are more harmoniously combined with the liver, excessive sweetness can interfere. Cut out seed pods from apples. Cut the prepared pulp into slices one and a half to two centimeters thick.

Pour vegetable oil into the baking sleeve. Next, lay the prepared chicken liver and bay leaf. Add onions and apples. Mix everything together through the walls of the bag so that the spices, onions, apples and liver are distributed over the common space. We tie a sleeve on both sides and make a thin puncture in the center for steam to escape. Place the filled sleeve on a baking sheet and place it in a cold oven on a medium level. We turn on the oven, set the temperature to 210 degrees and bake the dish for thirty to thirty-five minutes.

We take out the finished liver in the sleeve from the oven. Carefully cut the sleeve and open it. We transfer the liver to portioned plates along with onions and apples. Sprinkle with fresh chopped herbs and serve hot. Additionally, you can serve boiled potatoes.
