Steamed chicken cutlets in a slow cooker

Excellent diet cutlets can be made using a slow cooker. Steam cooking eliminates the presence of excess oil and is generally a more gentle method of processing food. This saves more vitamins and nutrients. An interesting point is the addition of carrots. It not only gives the characteristic orange color, but also contributes to a looser texture and also adds juiciness. These cutlets can be given to small children.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Any part of the chicken can be used to make minced chicken. Freeing chicken meat from bones, cartilage and skin. Cut the fillet into pieces. Peel the onions, rinse and dry. Peel the carrots, wash and dry.
step 2 out of 6
We pass the prepared chicken meat through a meat grinder with a fine grid. Following the chicken, we throw onions and onions into a meat grinder. Grate the carrots separately on a fine grater so that they have a different texture in the finished cutlets.
step 3 out of 6
In a large bowl, mix the minced chicken, onions, grated carrots, kefir, melted butter, egg, salt and black pepper to taste. Knead the mass with your hands or with a spoon until the ingredients are completely mixed.
step 4 out of 6
Pour semolina on top of the minced meat and mix it with the total mass. We leave the minced meat for twenty minutes at room temperature, so that the chicken is slightly marinated, and the semolina included in the composition softens.
step 5 out of 6
With our hands we form round cutlets. To make their surface smooth, we moisten our palms with cold water and lightly pat the cutlets on both sides. We put the cutlets on the plastic insert of the multicooker for steaming. Pour four hundred milliliters of hot water into the bowl, install the insert with cutlets and close the lid. We select the "Steam cooking" or "Steam" mode for twenty-five minutes. This time is enough for the minced meat in cutlets to cook completely.
step 6 out of 6
We remove the finished cutlets from the multicooker and immediately serve them on the table, while they are hot and juicy. For garnish, traditional mashed potatoes and fresh vegetable salad are a good choice.

Bon Appetit!
