Adding cottage cheese to chicken cutlets is a great way to increase the protein content of your finished product. Such cutlets turn out to be very nutritious and satisfying, without adding extra calories to the diet. Also, the dish is great for baby food: little little ones are happy to eat tender cutlets. And in every little thing there is a maximum of nutrients. Interestingly, in the finished cutlets, cottage cheese is not felt at all. The taste of the dish is distinguished by a barely noticeable creamy sourness and special juiciness - these are all the "traces" of a fermented milk product.
Ingredients
Cooking process
We free chicken meat from skin, bones and cartilage. Dry the fillet with a paper towel and cut into pieces for further processing. You can grind fillets into minced meat using a meat grinder with a fine grid or a stationary blender. We place the chicken pieces into the appliance and grind it to a fine-grained mass. It is worth noting that the more you want to "mask" the presence of cottage cheese in the cutlets, the finer the structure of the finished minced meat should be.
Put cottage cheese and an egg right in the bowl for the minced meat. Add salt and black pepper to taste, a pinch of allspice and mix everything together. You can additionally scroll the mass through a meat grinder or punch with a blender. By the way, cottage cheese can be used with completely different fat content. But it is worth remembering that the higher the percentage of fat content, the juicier and more tender the cutlets will be.
Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan and heat it well. With our hands moistened with cold water, form cutlets of the desired size and fry them for four to five minutes on each side. The temperature of the stove is medium, it is better not to close the lid so that the crust on the cutlets does not soften and the steaming effect does not appear.
Bon Appetit!
