Chicken cutlets with cottage cheese in the oven

Chicken cutlets with cottage cheese is an excellent dish that is suitable for the healthy nutrition menu, as well as for children. Subject to the proportions, the content of cottage cheese is absolutely not felt in the finished cutlets. To add more juiciness, flavor and color, we suggest using vegetables as well. Carrots will brighten the patties, and cabbage will loosen their texture. We can assume that with such a composition, cutlets contain a side dish at the same time! This is a great dish not only for a light, hearty lunch, but also a thoughtful option for a proper snack during the day.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Peel the onions, rinse and dry. Cut it into small cubes. Peel the carrots, rinse and rub on a coarse grater.
step 2 out of 8
Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan until hot. Pour chopped onions and grated carrots into it. With occasional stirring, fry the vegetables until the carrots are soft. It takes about fifteen minutes for the carrots to cook. After the specified time has elapsed, remove the pan from the stove and let the vegetable mass cool to room temperature.
step 3 out of 8
Dry the skinless chicken fillet with a paper towel. We cut it into small pieces. Using a meat grinder or blender, grind the chicken pieces into finely textured minced meat.
step 4 out of 8
Add the egg, cottage cheese and fried onions with carrots to the resulting minced chicken.
step 5 out of 8
It's the cabbage's turn. It is important to note here that the cabbage should be of early varieties - tender and soft. Alternatively, you can use the Beijing one. We shred it thinly and knead it well with our hands. This will soften the fibers and become much softer. Add prepared cabbage to minced meat. Season the mass with salt and black pepper to taste and mix well with your hands or with a spoon.
step 6 out of 8
We form cutlets from the prepared mass with wet hands. It is important to roll them well in your palms - so all the pieces of vegetables and cottage cheese will sink in, and the surface will remain smooth.
step 7 out of 8
Grease the baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil and put prepared cutlets into it. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees and put the form on the middle level. We bake the cutlets for thirty minutes.
step 8 out of 8
We take out the finished cutlets from the oven. You can serve directly in the form. As a side dish, it is appropriate to serve fresh vegetables, mashed potatoes and various sauces.

Bon Appetit!
