Chicken chops with potatoes in the oven

Chicken chops baked with potatoes are a hearty hot dish that cooks quickly and will help out both on weekdays and holidays. Be sure to sprinkle chops generously with chopped herbs when serving to enhance the flavor of the baked dish. For baking, we recommend using small young potatoes, as they taste better and bake faster.

We prepare the necessary products for the dish. To do this, rinse the potatoes thoroughly with a brush, do not remove the peel, since the potatoes are young. We cut each fruit into four parts. If you are using regular large potatoes, then they must be peeled and cut into small cubes. We wash the parsley greens in advance and dry.

Put the potatoes in a container of a suitable size, sprinkle with salt, black pepper and pour with two tablespoons of olive oil. Mix potato pieces with spices.

Heat three tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet. Peel the garlic, cut into small pieces and pour them into hot oil. Stir, fry over medium heat until light blush. We wash the lemon, dry it, squeeze the juice out of one rug, set the second one for serving. Pour the lemon juice into a frying pan to the garlic, add sugar and, with constant stirring, achieve complete dissolution of the sugar crystals. Then put the paprika, stir and remove from the stove.

Dry the chicken breast and cut into plates of medium thickness. We put the plates on a cutting board, cover with cling film and slightly loosen on both sides. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste. Grease the form in which the chops will be baked with one tablespoon of olive oil and put the prepared chops into it, trying to place them closer to the center, and leave the edges empty.

Pour the garlic mixture from the frying pan onto the laid chops, use a spatula to distribute it over all the chops as evenly as possible.

Put pieces of potatoes with spices around the edges of the mold.
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees. We put the dish in a hot oven on a medium level and bake for 25-30 minutes.

After the specified time, we take out the form and leave it for 5-10 minutes to cool slightly and brew. After that, we lay out the chops with potatoes on portioned plates. Chop the parsley and sprinkle the chops on the plates with it. Cut the remaining half of the lemon into wedges and place them next to each chop.
