Chicken chops in batter with mayonnaise

Chicken chops in batter with mayonnaise are very juicy, tender and spicy. Paprika, curry, and black pepper also add a touch of spice and flavor. These chops work well with neutral mashed potatoes and crispy fresh vegetable salad.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Dry the chicken fillet with a paper towel and cut into thin slices. Cut off any visible veins. We put the plates on a cutting board, cover with cling film and beat off with a kitchen hammer on both sides.
step 2 out of 7
Pour curry, paprika, salt and black pepper on top of the broken fillet pieces. Using our hands we distribute the spices over all the chops and rub them with our palms.
step 3 out of 7
We grease each chop with a little mayonnaise (we use no more than 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise) and send it to the refrigerator for half an hour to marinate.
step 4 out of 7
While the chops are marinating, let's make the batter. In a shallow bowl, combine the egg, remaining mayonnaise, flour, salt and a small amount of ground black pepper. Mix everything well with a fork or whisk until completely homogeneous.
step 5 out of 7
Dip the chicken fillet into the resulting batter on both sides.
step 6 out of 7
We put a frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove and heat until hot. We put chops in batter in a frying pan at a distance from each other so that they do not stick together. Fry for two to three minutes on medium-high temperature and turn over to the other side using a thin spatula. We continue to fry for another two to three minutes.
step 7 out of 7
Put the finished chops on portioned plates and serve hot.

Bon Appetit!
