Kurnik with chicken and puff pastry potatoes

Today I propose to use a simple recipe and prepare delicious pastries, which I often cook for family holidays. Kurnik with chicken and potatoes, made from puff pastry, turns out to be unusually tasty. Cook and you will be delighted.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Remove the puff yeast dough from the freezer first.
step 2 out of 6
Open a jar of canned champignons, drain the liquid, put the mushrooms in a bowl. Peel the onions, cut into half rings. Wash the chicken fillet, dry, cut into small pieces. Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
step 3 out of 6
Prepare a baking dish, coat it with vegetable oil. Divide the puff pastry into 2 parts, roll it out with a rolling pin into a round layer 1 centimeter thick. Put in a mold, form sides, distribute the filling evenly. Roll out the second slice of dough. Place on top of the filling. Pinch the edges well. Make a hole in the center.
step 4 out of 6
Beat the chicken yolk until smooth. Brush the surface of the chicken with whipped chicken yolk using a silicone brush. Place the kurnik in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, and bake the cake for 30-35 minutes until a golden, even crust.
step 5 out of 6
Cool the finished chicken, cut into portions.
step 6 out of 6
Chicken and potato chicken cooked on puff pastry, serve.

Bon Appetit!
