Kvass from birch sap can be prepared in different ways. All of them are based on ensuring the process of light fermentation - it is thanks to this that the kvass acquires its characteristic sharpness and richness. According to this recipe, we will prepare kvass with the addition of raisins, in bottles - it is very convenient.

Wash the plastic bottles thoroughly and let dry. We pour birch sap into them, without adding about five to six centimeters to the neck.

Put the washed and dried raisins into the bottles.

We also add dried apples and granulated sugar.

We close the bottles with lids, shake well to dissolve the sugar. We open the covers and let the air out. Squeeze the bottle slightly so that the liquid comes to the edge of the neck. We close the lids in this state and put them in a room with room temperature for three days. After that, open the lids and release the air again. We put the bottles in the refrigerator and let the kvass stand for a month.
