Appetizing bread kvass is best prepared by yourself, and not bought in a store. When you make homemade kvass at least once, the difference will become obvious. It will be ready in about three to four days, since there is no yeast in the composition.

Take brown bread and cut it into cubes.

Line a baking sheet with baking paper and place the bread cubes in an even layer on top of it.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and dry. A temperature of about one hundred degrees will be enough for the croutons to brown gradually.

Transfer the bread crumbs to any convenient container and cool them down.

Add well-washed raisins to the breadcrumbs, which will help your kvass ferment faster and add a pleasant taste and aroma to the finished drink.

Add granulated sugar and stir the ingredients. Transfer them to a bottle or a 3 liter clean jar.
