According to this recipe, chicory kvass is prepared very quickly, and it tastes exactly like barrel kvass! Previously, such a drink could be bought at every corner in the summer. Only homemade homemade kvass is not even worth comparing with the purchased one, because it is much healthier and tastier when prepared with care.

Choose a suitable container for kvass, in which the drink will be infused. The most delicious kvass is obtained in glass jars, but you can take a saucepan or a bottle.

Pour all dry ingredients into a container, then add half of all water (medium temperature) and mix well.

Gradually add the remaining water to the starter container while stirring the ingredients. Stir your future kvass thoroughly when you combine all the ingredients and add all the water.

After that, move it to the workpiece in a hot place - for example, to a sunny loggia. In cooler conditions, the cooking process will take longer. There is no need to cover the container with kvass, just leave it warm (at least 20 degrees).

After about three hours, your kvass is ready. Move the container with kvass to the refrigerator and store it there.
