Wort kvass with raisins

Cold kvass is ideal for the summer heat. You can prepare the drink yourself at home. This is not difficult to do, you just need to wait for the fermentation process.

We will prepare the necessary products. Kvass wort concentrate is sold in the store. Three liters of water should be boiled in advance and cooled to 30 degrees. A high temperature will be unfavorable for the yeast.

Pour water into a large jar. We also add sugar, raisins, kvass wort and dry yeast to this. Mix well until the dry ingredients are homogeneous and dissolve. We close the jar with a lid and leave for 24 hours to ferment.

The drink will begin to ferment after one and a half to two hours. You will notice this when the raisins begin to rise from the bottom up and small bubbles begin to appear. These are good signs that the fermentation process is going well.

After a day, the drink should be filtered, bottled and sent to the refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve chilled!
