Lasagne with minced meat and tomatoes

It is very easy to make Italian lasagna at home if you buy special sheets of dry dough in advance, which are called “For lasagna”. In fact, this dish is nothing more than a casserole of dough and two types of sauces: meat Bolognese sauce and Bechamel milk sauce. And do not be confused by these foreign names, there is nothing difficult in repeating sauces at home. Maybe in an Italian restaurant you will be able to taste the most real lasagna, but the one that you cook according to our recipe will turn out to be no worse!

Make Bolognese Meat Sauce. In a skillet, fry the diced onion until golden brown. Then add chopped garlic to the same place, fry everything together for a couple of minutes. Place the onion and garlic in a bowl.

In the same pan, fry the minced meat until half cooked, stirring occasionally.

Add the peeled and blended tomatoes to the minced meat. Add the onion as well, stir and fry everything together.

Pour the wine into a frying pan, add salt, sugar, spices to taste and simmer everything over medium heat until cooked under the lid.

Chop the basil and a few cloves of garlic and add to the sauce. Basil can be substituted for parsley. Set the meat sauce aside and let it sit under the lid while you do other things.

Make white Bechamel sauce. Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour to it and, stirring occasionally, fry everything a little. Pour milk into the sauce in a thin stream, stir, salt and season the sauce to taste, then boil it down a little so that it thickens.

Boil the lasagna sheets in salted boiling water (the exact cooking time will be indicated on their packaging), then cool and dry them.

Grease the bottom of the baking dish with Bechamel sauce, top with a few sheets of lasagna, spread the Bolognese sauce over them.

Then brush everything with Bechamel sauce. Alternate layers of lasagna and sauces until you place everything in a mold.

The last layer is Bechamel sauce + grated cheese.

The lasagne is baked in the oven until golden brown at 180 ° C for at least 40-60 minutes.
